it will take a while,if You think that a software is close to....go to one translator and translate a phrase and then translate it back to English and You will see.(human do not make ,that big,mistake)

dude you have pointed out a really interesting thing but the software’s already exits on internet but that is not taking away the jobs of such professionals…so it won’t be that bad buddy

Software replacing human translation would probably never replace human translators, Although the technology is advancing, a person can provide a better, more accurate translation most of the time and the grammar is more likely to be correct. In the long run, a human is a better translator but for smaller tasks or businesses, technology would be more practical.

A very long time. Speech recognition software is advancing very, very slowly.
Ambient noise, different voices, etc are very challenging problems and will take at LEAST decades to overcome them if not longer.
