I want to say that my brother lives with his girlfriend, so would this be correct?
"он живет с его подружкой"
I know it’s terrible I’m using an online translator; trust me, I’ve slapped my wrist

The translation above uses the correct possessive pronoun, because the translation you got sounds like "he lives with -somebody’s- girlfriend."
