What is the best Free Online Translator?

May 19, 2012 - 3:20 am 4 Comments

I want one that is powerful. I use bing but I would like to know if there is another one free and better. I also know that translators do not analyze correctly if the sentence is a long one, or a paragraph. Shorter sentences are easier to translate. Is there another free online translator that is better than bing, google, and I can’t remember the other one; a translator that was created in 2012? Thank you for your responses in advance.

Again, please don’t just go to an online translator. I would like an accurate translation. Thanks.

"Ho scaricato (or ‘consegnato’) i video al negozio"

Is there online translator job that i can join for free?

March 11, 2012 - 3:19 am 2 Comments

I am looking for an online (Tagalog-English) translator job that I can join or work for. But I’ve mostly searched those online translator jobs wherein, you need to pay a certain joining fee. Could you please send me links or websites where I can work online without joining fee.

You’re looking at freelance websites like elance.com, where you sign up as a freelancer and seek out translation jobs. And yes, it’s wise to avoid paying money for memebership because most of the time it’s a scam.

Can someone translate (not using an online translator) for me?

January 1, 2012 - 11:53 pm 2 Comments

Can someone translate (not using an online translator) the phrase "Power in Pain" to German and/or Hebrew? I would like it for a tattoo, so I don’t really want an incorrect translation… Thank you so much.

Kraft des Schmerzes
- or –
Im Schmerz liegt Kraft.

But you wouldn’t say that in German. It’s not a German phrase someone would use… so better NOT get a tattoo with the German translation and stick to the English phrase ;-)

I have seen some translators online, but I want to have one that is as perfect as any one of them can get. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)

probably a human.. English and Latin (and virtually any other human language) simply are too complex for a machine to understand.

A legitimate English to Spanish online translator?

November 20, 2011 - 3:17 am 2 Comments

I’m currently studying Spanish, and to make sure that my sentence structure is well, I like to enter my sentence in a translator. In my earlier days of Spanish learning I used to use Google Translate, but I learned that it isn’t accurate. Do you know of any online language translator that translates English to Spanish (vice versa) accurately. I’m currently using Yahoo Babel Fish which seems to be accurate, but I’m not sure.

I am your online accurate & perfect translator :)

What is an accurate online free japanese translator?

google translate is inaccurate, so i just want to know if there is a free online translator for japanese that is exactly accurate?

I don’t know of any translators that handle the grammar very well, but if you can decode the word order and grammar, then www.rikai.com will give you the meanings of the kanji characters so you can figure out what is written.

How to find a safe job as an online translator?

August 23, 2011 - 11:00 am 4 Comments

I have a bachelor’s degree in Italian language and I would like to find an online job as a translator from Italian to English and vice-versa. How do I make sure that the web pages I find are not just some scam for stealing money from my account? Thanks! :)

I don’t think you are going to find a job as an on-line translator. At best you may hope to find work. Most translators have additional qualifications which would give them the edge over someone with only a bachelor’s degree. What can you offer in the market place to attract the attention of those doling out the work? The other thing is that you shouldn’t translate into anything other than your mother tongue unless you have grown up in a country and therefore speak its language to mother tongue standard. It sounds as though you should aim to translate into English only and leave the translations into Italian to native speakers.

Your best bet is to trawl through the lists of translation agencies and approach them offering to do a test translation so that they can see how good you are. You could try registering with a website such as this to see what comes up. However, you are one lone face amid thousands and you must work hard on your profile to see what special skills and expertise you can offer. http://www.translationdirectory.com/freelancer_registration.htm

Edit: By joining groups of translators, you will be put wise to many of the scams operating in the market. Here is an example: http://www.translationdirectory.com/translation_jobs/other_translation_jobs.php

What is the best online translator?

July 26, 2011 - 2:09 am 2 Comments

I would like to translate my website into Japanese (I do not speak it.) I’m told that many time free online translators such as Babel Fish, Google Translate, Promt, etc provide translations that are very awkward or incorrect. Is there one such service that is known for being the most accurate?

Theres no online translators that work. What you were told about them are 100% correct.

If you want your Japanese to be in Japanese, post the info on yahoo answers and hopefully someone will do it for you.

Also depending on what your website is, don’t forget it will have Japanese speakers coming to it, so if it requires any communication, be prepared to get Japanese emails.
