For example; I wish to know how to say following in Philippines :
a. Its my pleasure to meet you.
b. I hope you had a good holiday
c. Thank you

    Philippines is not a language, it’s a country. Most people there speak a language called Tagalog.

    a. Literally- Kinakagalak ko na makilala kita. (But this is really TOO formal. Nobody says this. Try instead "Cool ka tol!")
    b. Literal – Sana mabuti ang bakasyon mo (But that sounds sarcastic. Better- Kamusta ang bakasyon mo? Literally – How was your vacation?)
