Translators and Linguists

I am attempting to find the proper translation of "Ascent to Excellence" into latin. The online translators are coming up with "ascensus ad excellentiam". Funny thing is, I never truly trust the translators to come up with the absolute correct translation. Can someone verify this translation for me?

Surprisingly, the translator was right.

Ascentus is the nominative form and is the subject of the sentence.
ad is the preposition "to" or "toward" which takes an accusative object. In Latin, "excellentia" is the nominative form, and adding an "m" would make it in the accusative case.
