How do you say in German: "This picture here is a boy. He is wearing a clothes like a favorite cartoon. The shirt is yellow and the buttons are pretty. This picture is taken during the day at a movie theater. I do not know when. He did it because he likes the movie UP" (I’m in German 1 so please keep the vocabulary simple.) & i don’t want to use a translator because it comes out too literal. Please help me.

Auf dem Bild ist ein Junge. Seine Kleidung sieht aus wie in einem Cartoon. Das Shirt ist gelb und die Knöpfe sind hübsch (easier schön). Das Bild wurde während einem Tag im Kino gemacht. Ich weiß nicht wann. Er hat es getan weil er den Film mag.
There some English words ("shirt" "cartoon") but that’s all right. There much English words in the German language.

How to say this in French/ no online translation? Only People who know how to write and speak french.?

The picture of the classroom is nice. I noticed that there are only three students in class. None of them have bags. Their is a computer desks and tables in the classroom. Their is glue and markers on the board. There are to girls in class. Only one boy and one teacher. There are four empty desks in the classroom. On one of the desks their is a ruler and a notebook

L’image de la classe est agréable. J’ai remarqué qu’il n’y a que trois étudiants en classe. Aucun d’entre eux ont des sacs. Leur est un bureau d’ordinateur et des tableaux dans la salle de classe. Leur est la colle et des marqueurs sur la carte. Il ya des filles en classe. Seuls un garçon et un enseignant. Il ya quatre bureaux vides dans la salle de classe. Sur l’un des bureaux leur est une règle et un bloc-notes

Can you give me an english to korean translator but the translated word is in english letters?

May 30, 2010 - 5:15 pm 2 Comments

Im getting frustrated. I can’t find any english-korean translator that spells the translated word in english letters. Like when i typed the word "Hello" it would be translated in some korean letters. So please, help me find a translator that translates the word in Korean but in english letters. PLEASE AND THANKS!

you can translate from english to korean first, then get the romanization. I use this site: http://www.sori.org/hangul/conv2kr.cgi?q=&m=1

that can also be used to convert romanized korean words into hangul. ^^

Need for homework , would be good if it orders words properly Etc.

No translator is perfect but I think this side is ok, at least for the translation of a few words, not for sentences.
you can also listen to german words, so you can learn how to pronounce.

How do you translate this from Chinese to English? No online translation please..because it doesn’t make sense?

如果我说爱我沒有如果. 錯過就過. 你是不是會難過? 若如果拿來當借口? 那愛是不是有一點弱?

I tried the online translator but the translation doesn’t make sense. Can any native translator or professional translator translate this for me? Thanks.
Also, what’s the pinyin for these phases?

You made a wrong word——如果我说爱我沒有如果—–>如果我说爱我沒有结果
———》If I said "there is no result that you love me , so if we are missed, just let it be ", did you feel sorry about that?
but if you took this(no result) as a excuse, Did it mean your love to me a little weak?

any army arabic Translator in the house ????!!!?

May 18, 2010 - 11:02 am 2 Comments

alright , am a 35years greencard holder , lebanese doing an $8 job since i came to states in 2008 , i only have a high school , no one is hiring … economy still recovering …. a lot of shit is going on , and on top of that i had my first baby boy.
am really considering joining the army as an arabic translator, since its the only thing i can do :) and after i ran out of all options. I still need to buy a house and need a life career .
The thing is I HATE KILLING and am completely against violence and force in solving problems , CZ i lived my first 26 years in a fucked up place called Beirut :)
====> my questions :
1 – would you recommend joining the army?
2- am i gonna have to kill if i was ordered to?
3- do i have to renounce my lebanese citizenship after joining ?
4- is there any arabic translator in active duty can talk to him about it ? (( online or in person))
5- how much money exactly ill make ??

plz plz plz dont tell me talk to a recruiter or go to goarmy website :) i want facts and real life .
to Rodger :) age 35 is not an issue army website says that i can join til age 42

1. In your case, I would not recommend joining the military since you are not willing to take up arms. That is what we call a conscientious objector and as such you are not allowed to join anyway.

2. Unless you are a chaplain, you must bear arms, use them, and kill the enemy if you have to. That is the nature of the Army, and in today’s modern warfare, there are no front lines anymore. Even people safe in the "rear" could have to fire upon and kill the enemy.

3. Normally, no, you would not have to renounce your Lebanese citizenship, but to be a translator, you have to be able to attain up to a TOP SECRET security clearance which would require you to give up your Lebanese citizenship and obtain full US citizenship before joining.

5. The money you make will depend on your rank and time in service. The military does not get paid by what job we do.

What is a good italian translator online?

May 18, 2010 - 11:01 am 3 Comments

I am looking for a free translator online that is very reliable. I would like to write complete paragraphs and not just one word.

i suggest google too…. when translating single words it’s very reliable (also dicios.com), but when talking about sentences i’d say about 60% correct, always scrambling with inflexions, anyway still the best i’d say, with the general meaning of the sentence correct

ps of course i use it reverse :)

English to Arabic Translator?

I’m looking for a free translator on the internet that would translate english to arabic, but here’s the kicker, I’d like for the arabic words to use the english character set. I’ve found a slew of websites that will translate my english into arabic using the arabic characters but I’d like to see what those letters are in english. Am I making any sense? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Additional Details:

Google translator is not what I’m looking for. Google translator translates english into arabic using the arabic character set. I need a translator that translates using the english character set.

Example :

Where is the school? = ‘ayna al-madrasa?

No such thing exists yet.

Google translator doesn’t even translate English into Arabic correctly because it doesn’t take into account grammar and word order. It is good for translating single words, but not a whole sentence or paragraph.
